There is no hidden cost what so ever as this is a government initiated project.
Will I be able to only register for only one account from Icell?
Ans: Yes as it is bound to your unique NRIC number.

Did you check that you have all the required field correctly input, make sure all your

Why is it that in IDA website, it shows that this certain area is covered but I cannot
seem to scan for Wireless@SG?
As Wireless@SG will be push out in phases, not all places will be up and ready.
There may be some that is under upgrading or maintenance.
Am I bound to only register for one ISP, which is icellnetwork, Qmax or
Singtel?
No, in fact, you can register for all three.

Am I able to access the free wireless broadband at home?
No, unless you are able to receive the signal, cause this phase is for public
access area like shopping centers, community center, libraries and so on.
Will I be able to use a WAP or 3G phone for this service?
No, you will require a Wifi mobile phone.
Is my handphone using GPRS/WAP to access the Wireless@SG and am i
being charged by it?
You are not using GPRS/WAP or any other service to access Wireless@SG
broadband service. No, you will not be charge at all.
What kind of wireless card is acceptable by the network?
Just any kind of b/g wireless card will do.
Will icellnetwork have a premium account like the other ISP that is having?
Yes, we will have one eventually and when that comes, it will be up in our
website.
Is there a possible risk of my information being leaked out or sold? There is
no official assurance that the information that we input is secure.
No, there is no risk. After you have input the information and press on
register now. It will be send directly to our server which is secure by a
sonicwall to prevent leakage out to the internet or through email.
Can I cancel my account with Icell?
Yes you can but you will have to inform us by emailing to
support@icellnetwork.com. Please let us know the reason for cancellation
also.
